We’re saddened to learn of the passing of the honourable Lord Eric Avebury, a humanitarian who dedicated his life to the service of others. Lord Avebury worked tirelessly to help our members who fled Pakistan to avoid persecution.

Due to Lord Avebury’s efforts, 65 members of Mehdi/Messiah Foundation International were saved from certain death in Pakistan and granted asylum in the United States of America and Canada. Today, they are able to spread the message of love peacefully, without fearing for their lives.

Lord Avebury led an inspiring life. He did everything in his power to ensure that justice was dispensed, and MFI was no exception. We are grateful for his help and we pray that Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi bless his soul.
